Episode 08: The Road To Godzilla Resurgence

I think it's safe to say (without checking) that we've talked about the new Toho Pictures Godzilla film, briefly, on every single episode of this podcast so far. That's because we know how big of an event the release of 'Godzilla Resurgence' will be for us and fans worldwide. We decided to take a break from the huge line up of films and discussions we have planned for this podcast and take a step back in time to see what led up to this complete re-imagining of one of the oldest film franchises in existence along with the two directors who will take the series forward.

This episode also has us discussing some of the major news concerning giant monsters that has hit in the last few weeks. We discuss IDW's new time traveling Godzilla comic series that is being written by Jeremy Robinson, with art by Matt Frank. We delve into the huge reveal of the new 'Power Rangers' reboot costumes and how much of a departure they are for the franchise. After that, we wrap up the news section with a discussion about the departure of Gareth Edwards from the directors chair on Legendary's 'Godzilla 2' and who they might get to replace him. Finally we dive headfirst into our main topic of the night: The Road To Godzilla Resurgence.

Episode 07: Jeremy Robinson's Project Nemesis

This episode marks a turning point for the podcast, as we delve into our first book discussion. Of course, it just happens to be a book that is widely regarded as one of the best new kaiju properties and is extremely well written by the best-selling author Jeremy Robinson. Dubbed a "kaiju thriller," the book and its author do not disappoint on either of those fronts.
